Product Development & Production Process
Launching Ashbear allowed me to apply my experience in licensed merchandise production to an independent consumer brand, managing the full product development pipeline from concept through fulfillment. I handled product design, technical specifications, overseas vendor sourcing, sampling and proof approvals, manufacturing coordination, packaging, and final assembly, using the same production workflows and quality-control processes I developed while working in the gaming and entertainment industry.
Pop-Up Events & Booth Presentation
Pop-up markets played a key role in growing Ashbear into a cohesive in-person retail brand, giving me hands-on experience with booth design, customer flow, merchandising, and live sales operations. I developed branded event materials including signage, table displays, pricing systems, and promotional graphics, while also managing payment systems, social media marketing, and interactive product experiences that helped attract attendees and refine the overall customer experience across multiple events.
Brand Exploration & Final Design Selection
This section showcases the early brand development process for Joyloom Party Supply, where I explored multiple visual identity directions before refining the final system. Through iterative logo design, color exploration, packaging concepts, and pattern development, I established a bright, approachable brand identity that stood apart from the neutral luxury trends common in the party industry while still feeling polished, memorable, and cohesive across packaging, labels, and digital applications.
From Unboxing to Final Installation
This section highlights the end-to-end customer experience for Joyloom, from branded unboxing through final installation of the completed balloon garland. I designed the kits to feel organized, beginner-friendly, and visually approachable by creating clearly separated packaging systems, coordinated color assortments, instructional materials, and specialty add-ons, while also documenting the full assembly process through product photography and behind-the-scenes installation imagery to reinforce the polished, professional-quality final result customers could achieve at home.
Full Etsy Customer Experience
Finally, this section demonstrates the complete Etsy shopping experience for Joyloom, including storefront design, product presentation, and educational listing content created to make balloon garland kits feel approachable and easy to understand for customers. I designed the storefront layout, product photography systems, image carousels, informational graphics, and visual product breakdowns to clearly communicate kit options, assembly expectations, color variations, and specialty add-ons while creating a polished and cohesive e-commerce experience that reduced customer hesitation and improved usability.
